Eliza

27 year old Eliza developed Rectal Vaginal Fistula (RVF) during the delivery of her last baby and was operated on at our Fistula Care Centre in Malawi in March 2017.

Due to the smell, Eliza experienced a great deal of stigma.  People were unable to be around her and she was miserable.  Now healed Eliza has been once again able to rejoin her community.

During her stay with us at the Fistula Care Centre, Eliza received a solar kit which has greatly impacted her life.  The money she makes has boosted her bakery business which she runs with her husband.  She is able to charge 5 phones at a time.
