This is Claudia, a patient from Antanambe in the district of Ambatondrazaka (Madagascar). She suffered from obstetric fistula for seven years, the hardest time of her life. She couldn’t work or go for a long walk in the countryside, couldn’t get out due to lack of transport so was ostracised by society.
